Equal Exchange are a company that have a wide range of produce, from refreshing teas to beautiful olive oils. It is a company that was founded in 1979 by 3 volunteer workers who had each returned from working on aid projects in Africa, where they saw first hand how small scale farmers were struggling. They decided to start a company dedicated to promoting Fairtrade as they want to ensure that both the farmers who provide their produce and the environment get as fair a deal as possible.
