We have established the Whitmuir Initiative, a charitable Trust. The WI have secured £10,000 from Awards for All to fund The Scottish Bee Project - see above.
With the invaluable support of Peter and Joyce Jack and their fellow bee keepers, the project will run 8 bee hives, the observation hive and develop a programme of educational work on bee keeping.
Whitmuir Initiative are also actively working on a wild life garden walk - currently the pig walk which now has a new pond!
We are also developing a medicinal herb garden, run by Julia Cook
