Despite it's size it is full of flavour, and as the name implies it can be cooked it minutes! Definitely worth a try, especially if your looking for a quick cooking meal that still has all the flavour you could want from a steak.
The minute steak is a very thinly cut steak taken from the sirloin cut. Owing to this the minute steak is full of flavour and is a delicious choice of cut.
For best results pan fry or chargrill. Put a pan on a medium heat and instead of oil sprinkle a layer of salt onto the pan. So as not to dry the steak, a oil initially makes it dry and crispy. A safe and simple way to check if the pan is hot enough would be to wait until the pan has been on the heat for an appropriate amount of time, sprinkle some water and it should react instantly. Season the steak, just minutes before cooking and add to the pan.
For this cut of steak, the cooking instructions are in the name. Simply put the steak onto the pan and brown on one side, turn over and brown the other side. It should only take one minute or each side to brown and for the steak to cook through.
