The topside frying steak is a very lean cut of meat. There are a multitude of things that can be done with a topside, from stir fry to omelette to lovely steak sarnies. With the topside steak there are no limitations as to what you can do.
The topside steak is a cut taken from the same area as the topside roast, found just above the silverside cut, on the top hindquarter of a cow. It is a thinly cut steak that cooks really quickly with delicious results.
Although the topside frying steak can be eaten as a conventional steak, it is recommended to be used within stir fry, a sandwich or something similar. For best results flash fry on a high heat, with a little bit of oil, or other alternatives. Topside frying steak cooks very quickly so should not be left to cook for longer then Until brown. Then cut into strips and add to your stir fry.
