Spare ribs are a fantastic cut of meat, when cooked in a lovely sauce they become beautifully soft and practically fall off the bone.
The spare rib is taken from the lower portion of the pig. They're not very difficult to cook, and once cooked the results are fantastic. Our pork is award winning pork, it won the 'Highly Commended' category in the UK Food Awards, a title is justly deserves. For perfect, mouthwatering spare ribs it's best to start off by par boiling them. For a 300g pack boil them for approximately 20-25 minutes. Drain them well and then marinate them for 24hr in the fridge. This prevents you from burning off the marinade and also increases the penetration of the flavours. Then pop them into the oven on a roasting dish for about 30 minutes. Then enjoy!
