Many chefs are now passionate about local, fresh food cooked from fork (in the field) to fork (on the table).  Here at Whitmuir we quietly do that everyday.  

We cook all our own beef, pork, lamb, eggs and vegetables.  Everything is freshly made - from the scones and cakes that come out of the oven every morning, to the slow cooked beef shin stew or leek and potato gratin we serve as a main course.  The home made soup and puddings are pretty good too.   As well as our core menu, we have a different specials menu everyday.  

Oh, as we are Scotland's only organic restaurant, we should mention that all the food, wine and beverages are of course organic!

Every day we have our core menu.  We serve breakfast, lunch and piglet's menu with daily specials.

We do 2 courses from the specials menu for £11.95

Every Sunday you can start the day with the best cooked breakfast in Scotland and enjoy a traditional Sunday Lunch.

Fully licensed.  Fully accessible.  Free parking.

Comfy sofas and a great wood burning stove.  Quiet corner for children of all ages.

More and more of you are booking the restaurant for your own private evening event. So far we have had birthday parties and family meals. We can also do the catering for your party for you - just contact us to find out more.
